Founder Profile & Requirements
Our program is designed for recent or aspiring full-time founders who are:
1. Planning to build in a space where they have at least 3 years of direct or related professional experience; and
2. Giving up meaningful income (from full-time employment or otherwise) to work on their idea and need to cover basic costs with a salary until they can raise investment.
Basic requirements include:
1. At least 3 years of post-education professional experience, but 5+ preferred;
2. Demonstrated professional success (e.g. track record of advancement, notable recognitions or accomplishments, meaningful growth in responsibility over time);
3. A professional and social network which includes potential "Family & Friend" investors who can also join the founder’s showcase event;
4. A problem they wish to solve that's relevant to their professional experience and can be solved through a venture-scale business model;
5. Early stage - ideally no money raised yet, or not enough to support a founder salary; and
6. Founders based in the U.S. or Canada.
